Why we built it
Nobody was building for renovation specifically
Every renovation shop we talked to was running on the same broken stack. Books in one app, estimates in a document, payments somewhere else, the crew on a group text, the pipeline in a spreadsheet. Five tools, none of them talking, and the owner spending their evenings stitching data together instead of quoting the next job.
The bigger apps were built for a different business. Jobber and Housecall Pro are strong for dispatch heavy service teams. Buildertrend fits enterprise general contractors with a hundred concurrent projects. But the middle of the market, the solo to thirty person renovation and remodeling crews that bill in milestones, had nothing made for the way they actually work.
So we built Renovate. One workspace for estimates, milestone invoices, contacts, pipeline, tasks, schedule, a storefront, and Renovate AI room mockups. Priced at $29.99 a month, so a two client month covers the whole year.
Every feature is tested against a real renovation shop's week. If it does not help someone close a deal or get paid, it does not ship.
